This paper examines the occupational exposure of chemistry educators to hazardous chemicals commonly encountered in laboratory environments. It highlights the potential health risks associated with inhalation, skin contact, and long-term exposure to substances such as volatile organic compounds, heavy metals, and carcinogenic agents. The discussion emphasizes the importance of laboratory safety measures, including proper ventilation, personal protective equipment, continuous safety training, and the development of a strong safety culture. Promoting these practices is essential to protecting educators' health and ensuring safe and sustainable chemistry instruction.
